Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy had been updated to accommodate the uncertainty of current times. We understand fully that, for the foreseeable future, guests may need to reschedule or cancel their travel plans at the last minute. We simply request that they give us as much notice of any changes they need to make so that we have a greater chance or re-letting any rooms that are no longer required.

Time of Arrival
Please note below the usual times for check-in. We understand that there are sometimes circumstances where guests may require an earlier or later check-in time. In these instances, guests will need to request an alternative time, either when booking or by subsequent message, so that we can ensure we are here to greet you!

Check-in 
Monday - Friday check-in time is from 16:00 - 20:00 unless by prior arrangement.

On Saturday and Sunday check-in is from 16:00 - 18:00 unless by prior arrangement.

Same Day Internet Bookings
Please allow up to four hours for same day internet bookings to be processed. If you are booking after 1600 we strongly suggest that you telephone us on 01803 849071.

Parking
The Great Grubb car park is situated at the front of the bed and breakfast. Please note that cars and contents are left entirely at the owner's risk.

Check-out

Last check-out is at 10:30am on the day of departure. This ensures vacated rooms can be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for guests arriving that afternoon.

You may arrange to leave your vehicle free of charge and it is usually possible to leave your luggage.

Children
Young families are very welcome at the Great Grubb. We are able to provide a cot and bedding for infants under the age of 2 and do not charge for their stay. For older children we have a futon in Room 3 and charge £5 per night to cover their breakfast costs and a one off charge of £5 for the laundry of the additional towelling and bed linen provided. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. 

Damage to Property
In the event of damage to any property at The Great Grubb, we reserve the right to charge for professional cleaning, repair and/or replacement of the item(s) concerned.

Behaviour
We hope that all guests will behave in a responsible manner toward both other guests and ourselves, however, we reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of behaviour. Guests failing to comply with any requests we make for adjustment of behaviour may have their booking terminated and be asked to vacate the premises whilst still being liable for the total cost of the booking and any other charges incurred.

Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse entry of any person that we do not wish to stay in our home.

Smoking
Smoking is permitted outside on the patio at the rear or in the car park out front of the property. All forms of smoking including the use of E-Cigarettes and jos/incense sticks are strictly prohibited within the buildings and will attract a minimum fine of £200 plus a charge for any subsequent nights that we cannot let the room as a result.
