We take our food seriously at The Great Grubb and strive to provide you with a delicious breakfast made from quality ingredients.

Please note that our Breakfast offering is paused until 1st May 2024.

Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room and the conservatory area overlooking the garden terrace. During the warmer months, guests are also welcome to enjoy the popular 'al fresco' option with breakfasts served on the patio area.

Our comprehensive menu includes fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurts, juices, toast and a cooked selection prepared individually for you.

Our standard full English breakfast consists of:

• 1 Premium English breakfast  sausage
  1 Premium pork chipolata sausage
  2 Large rashers of smoked back bacon
  1 Extra-large free range egg (poached, fried or scrambled)
  1 Portion of sauteed potatoes
  1 Portion of mushrooms
  1 Portion of baked tomato(es)
  1 Pot of baked beans

Guests are free to make their own combination from these ingredients.

Vegetarian and Vegan Breakfasts and catering for guests with allergies.

We pride ourselves both in our vegetarian/vegan breakfasts as well as in catering for guests with specific dietary needs. 

For those guests who have requested these options prior to their stay, we are able to offer gluten and milk-free brown and white breads for toasting, a gluten-free cereal, milk-free yogurts, a vegan alternative to butter, as well as soya or almond milk. Vegan and vegetarian guests are able to enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast, with meat free sausages and oven baked tomatoes, mushrooms and potatoes cooked in rape seed oil rather than butter, and baked beans.
